Hi,

here is some basic information about the program.

Please open the program with !index.htm. You can find it in the folder
"Tempo1+2". To open it you can make also a shortcut to your desktop. If you
don't want to run the program from the disk just copy the folder "tempo1+2"
to your C: drive (don't place it to subfolders), it's recommended for Mac user.

The program contains over 1500 words which can be learned and practised.
The aim of this program is to help the learner remember words
through different exercises. It contains basic exercises as well as intermediate
ones. If you don't have the German keyboard you can use for "Umlaute" (ö, ä, ü,ß)
 oe, ae, ue, ss etc.

This program is not a substitute for a language teacher but a valuable tool to
help the learner to remember 1500 basic words as well as the proper German articles.


There are two parts of the program in the first folder with two more on the second one. 
All exercises add new words to it so that the learner has a knowledge of around 3.000 
German words which will make speaking easy! 
The next programs will contain more grammar and sentence structures to practice.
It is recommended to use this program again and again for repetition purposes. 

One big advantage is that you can take the disk wherever you go and practise German,
another one is that the program will help you if you don't know a word - just 
press the "Hint" button. You  even get a score for doing your exercises and you'll see
immediately what you did right and what wrong. The program runs under every web-browser, 
as Microsoft Explorer, Netscape etc.
